Honestly, I had never even heard of the Fediverse before, and I'm extremely active on the internet and opensource projects. It feels insane to me that I had no idea what it was, but now that I understand it - I'm here for good.

As Reddit surpasses 3,621 subreddits that has gone dark, we're yet to reach our peak of active users. in c/lemmy@lemmy.ml

That's fair. I was going on info from a previous post I read somewhere. Might have been an update post.

There is also Jerboa for Android. Very much alpha software, but I like the direction it is going.
