More than anything I’m depressed by the precedent that this sets for the world on attitude and actions. He literally attacked and abused his way to the top. And a majority of Americans support it. Holy fuck.

I know a shocking amount of people who will buy the new iPhone every single year, so from Apple’s POV why would they ever not release a ‘new’ phone.

That’s the most dangerous part of it for sure. Inherently, the more a company has a monopoly over an industry, the less incentive they have to actually do a good job with anything.
