There is also an app dedicated to what the chirp of each bird is by scanning the actual card of said bird. I don't use it very often, but it's a very interesting addition, although completely not needed.

I agree, it's very early days, but I look at this the same way I see the Raspberry Pi organization developing their single board computer (SBC) back in 2011-2012. Look where that is today in terms of development/support.
Still new to all this, but it's nice to hear that they both talk to each other. Meaning they don't compete, but live together.
I 100% agree with this. Although my answer is more along the lines of "If it fits, it sits".
