I think there is something to be said about AI usage in schools by children.

You cannot convince me children just simply don’t want to learn. The fact that children will have AI solve their homework for them in order to avoid it can be seen as a crucial flaw in our education system. We need to seriously consider a new, entirely different system for teaching. One that will realistically keep children more engaged. I absolutely despised school when I was a teenager, now in my 20s, and I can’t stop finding subjects I want to learn about. What does that have to say about our system?

I appreciate what other leftists are doing for the cause. As an anarchist, though, I have to interject.

The idea that a revolution needs to be carried out by a central authority is dangerous, as I’m sure plenty of you know. It doesn’t matter how red your new flag is. We leftists shouldn’t think of our state becoming a “better” state, but rather the abolition of the state altogether. Power concentrated in any form, no matter how well intentioned, inevitably reproduces hierarchy and domination. Our goal shouldn’t be to seize the machine, but to dismantle it and build something radically different: decentralized, cooperative, and rooted in mutual aid. Something we all can get behind.

I’d love to hear a marxist pov on this. <3

Acknowledging that the majority of politicians don’t care about everyday people in the US as “bothsideism” is so fucking stupid. Don’t get it fucked up, it’s the poor vs the rich. And if it isn’t obvious, they want more money. More power.

If you actively stand there and say “yea shut up, bothsideist” (whatever the fuck that means) then you are contributing exactly nothing to the conversation.

This system is supposed to be for the people, right? For all the people? Not for the select few that gamed the system? So if it’s between a totalitarian state that silences dissent in order to keep workers rights or one that lets our politicians be corrupted and look the other way when rich people test the waters and try and take more and more with time, I’d prefer the first option.

Capitalism is a right-wing ideology. There is no center. The political spectrum is not a gradient. It’s either left or right. You either believe people should be above others or you believe in true equality. If you want a better future, elect people who understand this properly and fight for workers rights.
