Upvoting because of Aubrey Plaza

What does this mean tho?
An idea cannot fight weapons/power without public support. And for public support it needs to be daring enough point out the opponents? And for this the idea needs to be rooted on human life?

Thank you.

If you haven't tried them, I recommend giving them a try. They all have something to offer.

I have tried them on desktop and in most cases, I did not have any serious issue with them. I was thinking which one would be better optimised for laptops.

KDE handled things very well

I'm on KDE now. It's good. Was thinking whether there are any DE's that are specifically recommended for laptops, for efficiency or ease of use.

I have tried out Gnome, KDE, Lxqt and Xfce on a regular desktop and all of them feel nice. I haven't tried many DE's on a laptop.
Are there any particular DE's you like on a laptop, because of things like power consumption and efficiency that would not come normally into consideration for a desktop?

php

Not a programmer, but is php bad?
In the past, I had read that logins in websites were handled using php and mysql. Is some new/better language popular nowadays?

Edit: Thank you for the responses.

Have you informed the admin of your instance?
I think they'll be able help you better, whether it's some server error or so?

Opensource/FOSS:
Kdenlive, Openshot, Shotcut

It think Shotcut is the simplest to use.

In places like Denmark, The Netherlands, Finland and so on, people bike in pretty much any weather without huge issue, rain, snow, heatwave, doesn't matter.

Is their weather milder?
Or do their roads have good shades over bicycle paths?

It probably would be helpful, but it wouldn't be that useful in the tropical regions, where you have monsoons with strong rain/wind and hot summers.
Physical exertion in the sun is not always fun.

Tho, It'd be fun when the destination is near and the weather is decent.

I've used Chrome(Haven't yet tried Ungoogled Chromium on PC. Have used Bromite in the past). It didn't seem much faster.

Chrome generally felt faster on google services like Meet tho.

genocide Uyghurs in china

As a person who hasn't really looked up the issue(I mean I have read about it on the net here n there, but have never dived into the issue deeply), I have seen people talking about it on both sides and I'm confused.
The main things I'm hearing from people who say that a genocide isn't happening are:

  • That it's their suppression of religion expressions being public and that people are not being genocided, but public religious expression is not greatly provided by China. That it's similar to the stereotypes created against muslims after events like the World trade centre attack and it's being exaggerated as genocide.
  • That it's just propaganda seen on English speaking forums to deface the other side and if an actual genocide was happening, the countries in Asia itself would be taking action and talking about it and currently only western countries who're far away are talking about it the most. One side claims that it's Western or Capitalist propagnada aimed to defame and the opposite side says that it's Chinese or Communist propaganda aimed to whitewash.

Most of the times I've seen it, both sides accuse each other of being blinded by propaganda and the convo devolves there.

Which side is actually right here?

Edge is/was(have read that windows fixed some defender issue) slightly faster than firefox.

Backed up and deleted all your posts and comments? Is there some sort-of simple way to do that, for people who're not programmers?
