The joys of learning something complex. :) First its just a hassle to get the moves you want when you want them, but that comes quick enough. Then its recognizing the importance of anti-airs and how to do those and land those. But soon enough you figure that out too.

Just stick to one thing at a time, drill it and enjoy the small W's. Once you're comfy you can explore more. There's always a new thing to explore no sense in trying to do all of them right away.

Absolutely. Most of the fun end-game game loops don't even show up until half way through sunbreak. Near the end of sunbreak is when you get the fun armor skills, outlandish weapons, and hard difficulties and end-game monsters that really make monster hunter a joy to experience.

Dont give up too quickly on SF6!! It's not as hard as it's made out to be. You can get away with quite a lot with very little intentional play/very little knowledge, and mashing the rest of the time. The other concepts you can pick up as you go once you're comfortable!

No mention of Ori and the Blind Forest and it's sequel yet? Those are incredible songs.

Other great soundtracks to me are definitely Splatoon, Katamari Damacy, the Atelier series, Polybridge's soundtracks are relaxing. Valkyrie Elysium had a great soundtrack too. All the Be'elze tracks from there are wonderfully atmospheric. Big shout outs to Okami too.

Stick with it! The FGC is a great community :) We all know that initial hurdle sucksss but you'll have a grand time ahead of you if you manage to get ahead of it. Who are you playing as?

It's a lot like Diablo is for me. There's a ton of fun to be had, but the gameplay is rather repetitive and limited, so it's best to pick up for a bit, drop it, and come back later. With Diablo, I play for a few weeks every season or so, with Star citizen, I play for a few weeks every few patch cycles.

I don't think that's such a bad thing anymore though. I think it's weird how people have started to accept Games as a Live Service sort of deal to mean "We play this and only this!" "There has to be hundreds of hours of content or I'm wasting my money!". That sort of thing used to just be confined to MMOs, but I see it cropping up all the time with all sorts of other games. (again like Diablo lol)

I'm happy that I can still get enjoyment out of it occasionally, time-to-time. There's plenty of other games to sink my teeth into, and it's fun to rotate to keep the options fresh!

But on Star Citizen itself, the last few times I've played it has been relatively consistent, and the persistent stuff is great when it works as intended! It definitely adds a lot to the universe. I'm interested to see some new systems and planets and reasons to explore, places to set up outposts, and I'd probably stick around for much longer at that point. It's got enough bones there now to really facilitate a lot of great gameplay, it's just gotta flesh it out now.
