The way base 12 would work is that you’d add 2 characters and you would write “12” as 10. Which looks really confusing because we’re all used to base 10. If you were then to do 1010 in base 12 (so in base10 that would be 1212) you’d get 100 (144 in base10) so this still stands whatever base you use.

This looks awesome! Definitely stuff I’d use. I presume it’s also great for stuff like text expanders, autocorrect and typing predictions (if you’re into that stuff)

Like typing !date and it gives you the exact date or something (or unix time! So many possibilities!)

I agree. Place is an awesome idea and its inventor doesn’t even work for reddit anymore. The idea extends beyond Reddit, so why not have a big canvas for lemmy?

Haha that’s great! Their tag is one of the most common all over Amsterdam. I’ve no idea if they’re a single person or a group though.
