That makes a lot more sense. I was wondering why c/ stood for magazine.

I think they're supposed to be magazines, but I've been saying subs for.like 12 years. Mags, I guess.

Maybe çubs?

"In this subreddit"

Yeah I have a hell of a time remembering what Lemmy things are called as well.

So I'd cut Google out entirely for the last year or so, but I still haven't found a good search engine. DDG has been my go to, but it's not great, and this old style Google seems to be close to how things were before all search engines sucked ass. Do you have any recommendations for alternatives?

Sharks are older than trees.

They're older than a lot of things. Land plants, Yellowstone, appendages, dinosaurs, doritos.

Not that I have one, or will ever update to W11, but like why?

I don't know about samsungs, but Sony and any android or Google TV is a breeze to hack. Vizio and lg are a pain in the ass but they can be done, so I would assume someone smarter than me has figured it out and posted a tutorial

I'll throw some I haven't seen here yet

Talk to Me is one of the best horror movies I've seen. It's original, well written, and nobody acts like they're in a horror movie or makes blatantly stupid decisions.

If you haven't seen The Others yet, it set the bar for what supernatural horror could be.

The new boogyman movie is a little 'modern', but it's solid and has some really cool scenes.

Tigers are not Afraid was one that came out of nowhere to me, it's a Mexican indie movie about children dealing with cartels, and it's heavy as hell.

For less actually scary and more campy, Satanic Hispanics was a lot more fun than I expected. It's an anthology movie similar to VHS with each piece made by a well known Hispanic director.

And if you want tone upset for the rest of your life, watch Antichrist by Lars Von Trier and Mother! From Darren Aronofsky without reading anything about either of those movies.

It's from an old far side cartoon

It's color is black, but it's not black the type. Cold brew, espresso, and chickory are also blackthe color, but they're not what you ordered if you wanted black the type.

I know everyone is here for the same thing, and we've all been correcting this image since it showed up five years ago, but an Americano is not a black coffee.

It is however, coffee that is black, but if I ordered one and got the other, I'd know somethings up.

Also, I really don't know why people drink americano. To me they just taste like cigarettes, but I'm currently drinking chicory so my opinion is moot.

Yeah it's a good thing homework doesn't exist.

I've got a Sony android TV and it... Kinda sucks with the constant 'reccommended content's (ads). Every update just adds more scrolling shit I don't want to see.I want to know what different programs I can try out, and maybe a different os I can put on it. I'm looking at smarttubenext currently, and I want to know of other things I can use to customize my experience.

Any recommendations?

I manage several computers, and every time I set up a new one I go through the same motions. Install w10, disable a bunch of shit, add the same list of programs, delete the same default apps, setup Firefox how I want it, run through Oosu, disable several services, and add some registry keys.

Is it possible to have a USB boot media that will do all the tweaking for me? As of right now it takes close to two hours every time, if could just plug in a drive and run the installer, it would make my life a lot easier.
