We had one of the magnet screen door dealios and it worked really well. Until the cat discovered he could just go out on the porch to try and escape.

Since being forced back to they office only to sit on calls with the TV in the meeting room, I take every opportunity I can to make snide remarks about staying home.

@ChatGPT@lemmings.world please write a two sentence horror story with a twist on a historical figure most would know. Make it plausible.

Yeah, so it turns out that there's a couple meme plugins for chatGPT. Clearly this is the height of comedy.

It would come with a removable hoodie, but the only other clothes you can buy are also hoodies

Overall it's really just super comfy. The wrist rest is fantastic for sitting at a desk for hours. The index finger on the ball was a bit hard to get used to but after a few days my finger looked like Mr. Incredible's chest though.

The software to customize the buttons is really nice too. Cross platform, so it was trivial to setup custom stuff for my work MacBook and my PC separately (same workstation, but I've got a dock that switches all my devices between the two)

I may go pick up an ergo now though. I've been running this one for a few years now so it's time to waste money on more peripherals I guess!

I emailed the dev a few days ago asking where I could donate or something but haven't heard back yet.

Oh my god a /u/duckmaniac post in real time? Damn I'm lucky today!

Not a new board (made it in Jan?) but boy howdy was this a bad decision purely of my own making.

I was like, "yeah, let's go lopro for real!" At the same time, I decided to go with pinks, with the smallest amount of force required to clickity clack. Turns out that was a bad idea. My fingers are apparently small hammers and even the gentlest breeze will type on the board. It looks friggin beautiful, but oh my god is it hard to type on.

That said, I was on a 36 key split before this and looooved it, so adding the extra columns at the ends threw me for a big loop as well.

At least I have another pretty board to add to my display!

Using GPT4 with browsing/other plugins has been great. I friggin hate researching things, while the spouse is the opposite. As a neuro-spicy individual, planning is just about the worst thing I can imagine.

Guess what - "Give me a simple plan for a day in X city that's good for a family with kids ages X, Y, and Z. We need to be back in town by ABC time for a dinner reservation. Plan for random stops and finish with a short summary of the day's schedule that I can share with my wife."

Sit back and relax while GPT does the menial work. Give it a try for where you live and see how well it works. So far we've been having a great time. We got out in the middle of nowhere today and did a nice trail with the kids because of this. Likely never would have found that on my own.

Thanks, openAI!

How many times must we say this? I'm over my limit when trying to extend a conversation past "oh cool" or not realizing someone was trying to share excitement or whatever with me.

So exhausting. Just read my mind for my intentions and ignore the actual words please. It's so hard some days.
