I've currently stayed up all night to play my favorite new game because an old friend is coming over to give me a tattoo this afternoon and I didn't want to go to bed and not get to play the game. So I'm just going to skip sleep. Yet I've spent like 3 hours out of 12 playing it and the rest of the time smoking and looking at my phone. To be fair Civ 7 is complex and extremely poorly documented so I'm looking a lot of things up.

I'm still going to clean house in a panic the hour before he gets here...

Increasing the power of the executive branch in line with Unitary Executive Theory and following the Project 2025 playbook through Elon to gut social services across the board. He will be the dictator of the country when they're done, with no regulatory agency power to stop the full fascist takeover.

All the money they saved by cutting these essential programs that literally keep people alive (in the US and around the world) and from homelessness will be sent to the rich through tax cuts. It's all very obvious, but since they're hurting nonwhite people the most, hardly anyone who voted for him sees what's happened.

Sigourney Weaver in Alien and Carrie Fisher in Star Wars were my sexual awakening when I was 12.

Not much gets to me, but this shit is fucked up. I bet the people who work on these have horrible nightmares.

RFK thinks using any mental health medication is an addiction and he wants to put addicts in slave labor farms for years to cure them with faith in christian god. At this point I wonder if the vaccines will even be the worst part.

A dollar, a hundred thousand dollars, these are just rounding errors compared to $250 million.

Is the United States just gonna be like the UK 200 years from now?

I hope not. But everything happens so much faster now than 200 years ago. In 200 years, if humanity still exists, it will be so different, perhaps nearly unrecognizable.

What part of Mexico are you from? I've been to Mexico City, the West Coast, and Baja California. Take me with you? Mi Español es mierda pero soy un estudiante rapido.

For what it's worth, plenty of us who have lived here our entire lives reject US exceptionalism, protestant work ethic, etc.

There are currently more empty homes in the US than there are homeless people. There are roughly 30 empty units for each homeless person.

I don't think they've actually approved a war since Korea. They ceded that power to the president. Congress never declared war on Vietnam, Iraq x2, or Afghanistan. And that's just the big ones.

Notice how 90% of them disappeared after the election?
