Elite Dangerous is still the GOAT of sound design IMO. That game would be nothing without it's sound.

I'm sure there's more if I sit and think for longer, but right now I'd have to say Blasphemous - I went into it completely blind to what it was, and ho boy did it blow me away. Everything just felt good about that game.

I'm still trying out Tildes now and then, but the lack of an app pretty much kills the experience for me at the moment. I feel like the Lemmy system is overall the superior option, but Tildes is still an interesting alternative from what I've seen so I'm excited to see what it looks like with an app.

Replaced RIF with Jerboa on my home screen; I can't say I won't miss it though, wish there was a "Lemmy is fun" already

When I played Planetside 2, if nobody in my outfit was playing, one of my favorite things to do was go on a "sniper hike" as I called it. Instead of going to my faction's frontline (the game has 3 faction's fighting in a free-for-all), I would find the main frontline between the other 2 factions.

Once I found a good position, I'd pick a side, and start shooting - sometimes dealing enough damage one way or the other to significantly change the outcome of their battle. Or sometimes, getting 2 shots off and dying, wasting all the time I put into getting there.
