Do Vinegar actually work? I tried it previously and it didn't do anything for me, tried it again now since it was mentioned and YouTube ads still appear in Safari..

I'm feeling you! That's the same reason I'm looking for a alternative.

This is actually really good of them to realize that there is a market for another, separate, 2FA app to be honest. I don’t trust or like Google nor Microsoft. Authy is crap and going down the drain.

Using 2FAS now but not really feeling it.

If I could self host this and have redundancy/offsite backups I would probably move to this separate solution (Outside of regular Bitwarden).

Keeping the passwords and 2fa tokens in the same app is like writing the password on a post-it underneath the keyboard.

Less weight, no external display (remove eyesight), prizedrop and allow porn apps via alternative App Store and it will sell like hot cakes.

Depends on how long you live/often you buy a new one and what you pay for your watches now doesn't it? 😉

Have you looked at the second hand market of used Rolex Watches vs First Generations of Smart Watches?

I'm not trying to put anyone down jut fact remains, you can flip the Rolex you buy on the second hand market and get money back after 10+ years.ä without any problems.

But the one with the Rolex logo will most likely retain it's value over multiple years and might even increase.

Yours will probably be out of software updates and incompatible within a couple of years.

I got something similar in a requirement specification once:

"Resolution supported: Max" "OS support: The latest one"

ProtonVPN on MacOS (lemmy.world)

Is there anybody else experiencing that they are forced to relogin (enter credentials) for the ProtonVPN app on MacOS each time it has entered power save mode/been in standby?

Extremely annoying.

Does anyone know if it's possible to rewind the video feed, that the Homekit integration provides, from a Apple device?

There is a "Live" marker but I havn't found a way to rewind and I am unsure if it's a integration issue, issue with my video feed or if homekit itself perhaps doesn't support it.

Has anyone had any success with this combo? I tried a couple of months ago and got nowhere, I honestly doubt it works.

There are some people claiming to have gotten it to work with either a externally powered USB hub and/or an extension cord (due to a theory that there is radio interference between the yellow and coral). I have not managed to come in contact with any of them, and the ones I have made contact with have rebutted the claim.

The M2 is a no go, I know that much but this is in regards to the USB version. "Home assistant"/Nabu Casa themselves have stated that it works (or should work) on at least two occasions (https://www.crowdsupply.com/nabu-casa/home-assistant-yellow/updates/thank-you-video-demo-and-google-coral , "However, if you still want to use the Coral accelerator, Home Assistant Yellow is compatible with the Coral USB accelerator stick, which requires a USB-C to USB Type A cable.")
