Anarchists have the ultimate social responsibility, taking part in all decisions and participating fully in their community.

Whatever they're doing is the opposite, but I guess they both disagree with hierarchal power.

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eugene_V._Debs

Early in his political career, Debs was a member of the Democratic Party. He was elected as a Democrat to the Indiana General Assembly in 1884. After working with several smaller unions, including the Brotherhood of Locomotive Firemen, Debs led his union in a major ten-month strike against the CB&Q Railroad in 1888. Debs was instrumental in the founding of the American Railway Union (ARU), one of the nation's first industrial unions. After workers at the Pullman Palace Car Company organized a wildcat strike over pay cuts in the summer of 1894, Debs signed many into the ARU. He led a boycott by the ARU against handling trains with Pullman cars in what became the nationwide Pullman Strike, affecting most lines west of Detroit and more than 250,000 workers in 27 states. Purportedly to keep the mail running, President Grover Cleveland used the United States Army to break the strike. As a leader of the ARU, Debs was convicted of federal charges for defying a court injunction against the strike and served six months in prison.

In prison, Debs read various works of socialist theory and emerged six months later as a committed adherent of the international socialist movement. Debs was a founding member of the Social Democracy of America (1897), the Social Democratic Party of America (1898) and the Socialist Party of America (1901). Debs ran as a Socialist candidate for President of the United States five times: 1900 (earning 0.6 percent of the popular vote), 1904 (3.0 percent), 1908 (2.8 percent), 1912 (6.0 percent), and 1920 (3.4 percent), the last time from a prison cell. He was also a candidate for United States Congress from his native state Indiana in 1916.

Debs was noted for his oratorical skills, and his speech denouncing American participation in World War I led to his second arrest in 1918. He was convicted under the Sedition Act of 1918 and sentenced to a 10-year term. President Warren G. Harding commuted his sentence in December 1921. Debs died in 1926

In Australia an official diagnosis can be used against you in legal proceedings. Such as, custody hearings. For this reason medical professionals will often recommended against official diagnosis as an adult, unless the diagnosis will have beneficial outcomes.

Alternatively, they may just be trying to identify your goals. This will inform them how to structure their therapy. No point working on an area which doesn't affect your quality of life or one you don't care about and won't do the homework for. If there is no therapy for your concerns and a diagnosis won't help, they shouldn't waste your time and money getting one.

ikr, ITT, people getting mad they don't fit into / agree with a strangers green flag list. The world is a wild place and I hope it's not as hostile or absurd as I believe it is.

I'd classify battlestar is an easy game. Both Nemesis and New Angeles are more complex to teach and learn to new, especially non-hobbyist, people. However, this also means games don't drag on or feel long; even if you're loosing there's something to think about and time flies.

I would find it difficult to enjoy a short negotiation game - as the consequences over time are part of the fun. For something short and social I might recommended Ra or Modern Art, both by Knizia, while not having traitor mechanics someone will betray a deal every game.

A thin piece of felt the size of my dining room table.

I use it every time we play anything, at minimum, weekly.

Have you thought about New Angeles?

Nemesis is a great game, but very dissimilar to battlestar. If you are keen for nemesis and social games, get the original. The layout of the map and goal objectives lend themselves better to paranoia and sabotage.

Isn't this a perfect example where stable diffusion excels over the traditional process?

It's an interesting one to me for two reasons.

\1. Israels allies are culturally and ideologically opposed to what Israel has been doing in the region since WW2. It is imperialistic, subjugating and what the west has been trying to move away from in the later half of the 20th century. However, it is strategic to them to support Israel so they will continue to bite their tongues and support their ally.

\2. After the second world war Europe has been very cautious of any nation displaying imperialist intent. The mindset was featured heavily in the Falkland island conflict, etc. With Israel's obvious intent of expanding their land, especially with Zionist ambition, many strategists in Europe may find themselves thinking of the similarities between 1940s Germany and the current political ideology of the state of Israel.
