Yeah this might be a good option, but relies on Google Not making it a pain/using dark patterns to do so. . . Which ultimately they're incentivized to do.

Its padauk, I haven't used it before, but I have heard that it will lose some of the rich orange-ness is has over time. It turned nicely though.

This was a very fun experiment trying it a cornered bowl. It's one of my favorites so far. Wipe on poly finish.

I enjoyed this experiment with ebonizing using iron acetate. I used the ratios from here: https://jwoodscience.springeropen.com/articles/10.1186/s10086-023-02079-0

It worked great. A few spots where I accidentally touched where I didn't want to stain were reversed by using lemon juice!
