Why would they not want the strider to telegraph its attacks?

But, at the same time, it telegraphed its attacks? They’re probably my biggest cause of death at the moment because it seems like their rockets just appear in my face haha

Finally switched to godot full time with 4.3 from Unity and this has been my biggest point of friction, super excited to try this out!

Yep I had a couple aluminum ones, the 90 degree walls by the contacts would always bend inward to make a trapezoid ship on the connector instead of a rectangle and they sucked to try to bend back every time

Fair enough! Thanks for the data!

Much appreciated!

With no clear winner in terms of performance, which one do you think has the most durable material? I have been using a Corsair Voyager mini for years, which I think has an aluminum shell, and it very quickly bent inward on the side that doesn’t have the contacts, usually I need to put a key or some other metal thing into the USB slot of the drive to re-flatten it before it can be plugged in.

Waiting to see if the pistol is good enough to replace my trusty grenade pistol, hoping it is decent when you charge it.

Remember these are the same engineers who put the Magic Mouse charging port on the bottom, making the mouse unusable while you charge it

Maybe the matchmaking system prefers empty lobbies still on the ship over in-progress games if there aren’t any SOSs going

Too late for Malevelon, but just in time to permanently liberate Meridia checking in

And I just found this saying they have added official support to Rider

I think this plugin that I was looking at adds GDScript language support for almost all of them

Breaking: The Helldivers have established and held a protective border around Acamar IV, allowing the successful construction of the first-ever Terminid Research Preserve. Our intrepid Xenoentomologists have conducted an inaugural specimen collection foray, and are already reporting great strides towards our understanding of E-710 extraction and exploitation.

But while the eastern front now has calmed, the socialist toasters on the western front has unleashed a new fighting force. Automaton warships have appeared in massive numbers in the atmosphere of Matar Bay. Multiple SEAF bases have already fallen.

Reports indicate the presence of an augmented Automaton detachment leading the invasion. This group will be referred to as the Jet Brigade in all communications.

All Helldivers are ordered to immediately deploy to the defense of Matar Bay.

I wouldn’t call this a confirmation, but I feel like it’s more concrete than speculation. Could be anything from a three second background character to a small story depending on how they handle the PlayStation episode.

  • Autocannon now has flak
  • Recoilless Rifle has programmable ammo (?)
  • Scorcher now has automatic fire
  • Unknown “nicest change” to the Stalwart
  • Drones can now be recalled and deployed

Full patch notes on Oct 15

ATTENTION HELLDIVERS. Please closely review these blueprints for the upcoming Democracy Space Station.

Once complete, the Democracy Space Station will be a new strategic-level weapon. It will wield powerful, Helldiver-directed weaponry to aid in the liberation of its orbited planet. Through a cutting-edge voting system, the Helldivers will determine where to deploy the DSS, and when to use its capabilities.

Text:

Breaking: Today, after intense research, construction of the Democracy Space Station is ready to begin.

The DSS will be a powerful strategic tool for reshaping the Galactic Map — democratically directed by the Helldivers themselves. To achieve this, an orbital construction site must be secured. Two planets have large enough magnetospheres for safe construction: Gaellivare and Clasa. Both are under Automaton control. The final choice of which to liberate is left to the Helldivers.

During construction, the DSS will be extremely vulnerable to attack, so long-term defensibility is paramount. The DSS could change the course of the war. Its ultimate success or failure lies in the hands of our greatest heroes: the Helldivers.

TLDR: Big balance pass to make weapons more effective and enemies weaker to a degree coming Sept 17
