Yeah that sounds like a good solution. I think arch based pikvm does something similar. (no reboot necessary to enable rw)

For those pis that need to write stuff, I usually mount a network drive and use that while having the overlayfs enabled. So far haven't had any issues, only one pi died after 3 years due to faulty power supply.

Try to use overlayfs under raspi-config, I've been running some raspberry pis for years with that (mostly on offsite locations where fixing dead sd cards is not possible)

Updating the pis is a little more work but in some use cases it's worth it

Infinity, because it's the best FOSS option in my opinion

Great job to the zig core team + contributors. Looking at the sheer amount of issues that were covered in this release, this seemed to be a lot of work.

In my eyes Gizmodo is not seeing the big picture. The protest didn't kill reddit, but that was not a realistic outcome to begin with. However it significantly hurt reddit and helped push lemmy as an alternative. Reddit will be around for a long time, until lemmy has more widespread adaptation. It's the beginning of the end for reddit and they'll experience that with a disaster ipo

Isn't that Kate from the ancient porn site Kate's playground?

Don't know why but for some reasons I cannot take people seriously that write articles about the importance of their role.

In the media, CTOs are often portrayed as tech geniuses or wizards, single-handedly coding complex algorithms or inventing groundbreaking technologies.

Not sure what kind of media the author of this articles (op?) consumes, but I don't know anybody who thinks something like that.

This. Diets help only temporarily. In order to beat binge eating it's necessary to find the cause for the binge urges (boredom, depression, stress,...) and tackle them first.

I agree that omad is one of the best diets out there, however it only partly helps with overeating. My personal experience is that I started to develop crazy binge urges a few weeks / months into it to a point that I felt sick ever night and still managed to gain lots of weight. Especially when combined with regular exercise.

Binge eating unfortunately is a different beast caused by numerous other issues so I think they need to be addressed by something other than a diet

Lol that dude with the cat ear headset looks fabulous!

Oh I actually didn't know that. That indeed changes my perception a little bit

Idk but in my opinion describing red*it as a juggernaut for hosting multimedia is a bit far fetched, since their own image / video hosting platform is pretty shit and most of the media content is actually hosted on other platforms.
