The initial post could just be chalked up to naivety if we're feeling charitable, but using the official proton accounts for this stuff is an extremely bad move. Then half-assedly retracting it without acknowledging he posted it, doubling down, and making every classic PR mistake. Aside from potential capitulation to a regime that clearly values power more than human rights, there's significant risk from a person with such bad judgement having apparently no safeguards or second opinions when he's posting. What other decisions is he unilaterally making for proton that aren't publicly known?

What about just not laying off any more staff and have them do it?

I think they mean you can see if you've got malware or something. Basically if you download something you shouldn't, I think their theory is it'll go for the low hanging fruit of a crypto wallet.

Yeah, that's Quimbo what are you new to collecting Quimbos?

They need long federal prison sentences for that one

I've spent, collectively, probably days of my life clicking squares with just the tip of a handlebar or the faintest shade of the edge of a stoplight, only for bots to still be able to get past it.

You think they would expend resources recreating nobodies like us? Sam gets his digital construct immortality and we squat.

But they said the magic words they found on that schizophrenic guy's Facebook page, how could you not want to do business with them?

Its the current value they believe the investment has now. So if they sold today they would expect it to be 65% less than what they paid.

Letting the perfect be the enemy of the good is not a suggestion about how to improve things.
