The Nintendo eShop shutdown is another example of preserving software through piracy.

Yep, you're right I can enable it.

I was going off of MSI's spec page for my motherboard and it says it has a connector for the TPM module so I assumed that meant it wasn't there by default.

I have an INTEL I9-10850K installed on a MSI MAG Z490 mobo that I bought in 2020 and neither have A TPM.

What is your definition of 'up to spec'?

Valorants a big one for me. If I wasn't hopelessly addicted I'd have jumped ship on that games kernel level anti-cheat and windows all together

This breaks your ability to get security updates on win11 though right?

Anecdote: I think Denzel Washington is supposed to have one of the most symmetrical faces.

Watching the Korean movie "The Wailing" was fantastic as a movie in general.

I also liked Smile if you want something more traditionally horror.

Final suggestion is Event Horizon because I fucking love that movie.

Sure, if you don't want to let auto correct run your life...

I need to find a hat, backpack, and some shoes so I can hopefully survive fighting a genetically engendered duck with the body of Arnold Schwarzenegger, the grim reaper, and a noodle bowl..

Watched "The Walking" a couple ago. Really enjoyed it.

This thread came at the perfect time. I'm looking to set up my own Media server.

I love the suggestions already posted, does anyone have any more suggestions about which software and hardware to use for this sort of thing? I have an old Macbook 2013 running PopOS that I was thinking about using but I worry it'll have issues being powered up 24/7.

SaaS is almost as big of an issue as the tech monopolies that sell them, imo. I'd be more interested if it was a one time purchase.
