When I worked as an intern in a fancy restaurant I had my workspace in the kitchen below the radio (which was always on when we were prepping). I had braces at the time and the general opinion was, that I was functioning as an extension to the antenna. The radio was only working when I stood at one specific spot (or when I was not present at all).

Wow that is super cool. I'm going to play it!

Probably. Ai memes are the worst. But that's the only thing I got to follow the rule. I'll be better

I miss rage comics.

I agree. I rarely save memes on my phone but I needed to follow the rules. This one was sent to me months back, so this one it is. I'll bring more quality stuff next time.

I guess I was just unaware of spez' opinions and political alignment. It will just solidify my decision to dump American social media all together.

Well, maybe I was just in the wrong reddit spaces to notice. I didn't see any occasion (or article) that mentioned censorship like it's happening on Twitter. Even things that are commonly censored in social media like posts about death and suicide were not censored. I'd love to know more if this was happening outside my bubble.

Damn I thought reddit would stay save from the new usa censorship. Next step will ban liberal or anti trump posts and communities for sure. Seems like I moved to Lemmy at just the right time.

I understand what you're saying. Using big ol' American social media, you became dependent to algorithms, that regularly show you similar content that you might be interested in without explicitly requesting it (This is how I found the BuyFromEU sub on reddit that lead me here). The thing is: this is really unhealthy and you're letting a company or network decide what you're interested in. You have to and will get used to it, even if it means you're missing out on things in the beginning. I'm following the suggestion from others and scroll through "all" from time to time, which presented me some cool communities that I follow now. Hang in there!
