I love this game. Every major update seems meaningful, with patch #4 finally adding FSR 2.2 which is quite a big deal for the Steam Deck.
If they add another difficulty it adds even more replay value to the game.

Hopefully not arbitrary stat padding. The +2 to rolls made playing tanks incredibly frustrating, especially early on.
I can’t imagine how they would make it harder. The dice cheat on tactician. I platinumed it but I yelled a lot during my tactician run.
More fights would also be fun. I'm using a mod that adds some.
What mod? Is it clunky with random fights or relatively immersive?
It's pretty good, handcrafted encounters. It's named "Additional Enemies - More Encounters and Fights"
Thanks a bunch!
What kind of fights? Just random?
It's called "Additional Enemies - More Encounters and Fights". The fights fit pretty well IMO.
it will probably work like d:os2's honor mode. a perma death hardcore mode.
News difficulty will probably be a mess. Balance was already out of whack and had random unpredictable results with random stats and resistances.
