Rabbit hole is absolutely right. An expensive one at that. With my PAL GC I use an OSSC which I've had for 4 or 5 years. It's a bit long in the tooth now, as well as being expensive. If you can find a one, a RetroTink 2x is probably the best bang for buck. There is also the GBS Control - very much another rabbit hole. AFAIK anything else is going to be no better than the analogue input of your TV.

omg sorry but is it possible im being an idiot? like my troubles started when i didnt find my old cable anymore. the proper cable should go to composite which i should be able to plug into a vga (or hdmi?) adapter and then get a decentish image right? because that would be in my budget range. and thank you for the references! OSSC and RetroTink are a bit too expensive for me but maybe ill check out the GBS Control if it makes sense for me
