If the farm is properly setup on a clen energy grid, as a good number are because its mostly cheaper, the fire would cause more enviromental damage than the usage of the farm itsself.

I understand the idea here but I recently learned TV's use more energy each year compared to crypto mining in the US. Also, consider the energy used by MasterCard and Visa, it's massive and actually would be reduced if done on the blockchain. Just some food for thought.
