This year I discovered Norm Macdonald and I think he's now my favourite.
Theo Vonn is also hilarious, not so much his stand up but in podcasts and general conversation.
Bill Burr is great too.

Jim Jefferies' childhood friend brothel story will always crack me up.
Dmitri Martin has an uncanny ability to make me laugh out loud like basically no one else can.

And of course the german comedian Thorsten StrΓ€ter.
Rodney Dangerfield.
Still the king of one liners.
Milton Jones. His style is basically one-liners, but he's amazing at them. If you've ever watched his appearances on Mock the Week you'll know.
Jimmy O. Yang.
Jo Koy.
There are others, but these are the most recent I've watched.
Patton Oswalt and Michelle Buteau. Kind of an odd pairing considering their comedy is very different, but they both make me regularly wheeze laugh.
The end of the supermarket episode of Joe Pera Talks With You made me laugh harder than I have ever laughed in my life.

Serious answer: The sadly now retired Eckart von Hirschhausen, who does comedy mostly about health and medical topics.
