The way overdue bills and overdraft fees would start to pile up. Trying to watch them plan for holidays or birthday spending...

there was a show called Undercover Boss where the CEO of the company had to dress up like a common Joe and live the life of one of his employees for a week. the employee who treated him better was then rewarded by the CEO with money, promotions etc.
The problem I had with that show is that the people the boss interacted with were surely predetermined.
I would be expected a show like this to have similarly orchestrated situations.
