Never stay logged in with any device on Google & use a VPN for Twitter

Why are you even still using Twitter, I left that shit ages ago

I have a Twitter account, but I haven't even signed into it or looked at Twitter in a month or more. It's just a shittier version of Lemmy or Reddit where people need to actually bother getting followers to be heard, and they can only say things with little to no context. Not really a huge surprise that it's the Waffle House of (not so) intelligent internet debates.

Aw, that sucks. I once had my entire Gmail account revoked because I tried using mutt as my email client.

That reignited me trying to get off Google, if only partially. I grabbed my own domain and signed up for Migadu.

That isn't even mildly infuriating. It's absurd and invasive.

Yup, absolutely bonkers

I really wish power users were a higher number so that we could protest against these policies. If we do so now we are treated like a bunch of tinfoil hats
