EA has stopped paying for the FIFA license, which is why their next game is called EA Sports FC (Football Club)

This resulted in them delisting every single FIFA game from digit storefronts, including the less than a year old FIFA 2023

Is there any ranking of 'most pirated game' tracked by leechers accross to top indexes?

I remember FIFA being the first thing everyone pirated when I lived in the dorms in University.

The most pirated game is probably Minecraft because people are mad.

I think I slung £6 at them about 400 years ago and I still have access to the game and get all the updates, just doesn't seem worth the effort.

Jup. If you purchased the alpha version back then for $10 (probably the £6 you paid) you even got the later Bedrock version for free.

How does pirating fifa go given much of the appeal is online play and that card aspext of the game?

Or just ignore everything and play career mode if you have any self respect.

The security was shit on some editions. There was one, that you could close the prompt for CD key in a way and just play online with a pirated copy.

Plus idk I haven't played a lot but to me single player against the machines was enjoyable, well tl be fair I didn't have much people to play with plus I am terrible at it so maybe that's why.

Probably not, and also why the delisting might not be that big a deal. The whales were always going to get the newest version anyway.
