Just had a read through this and exported an image, nice guide. That bit all seems pretty cool and easy! Hardest bit will be making them not look shit. Not sure what software to use to edit the images and stack. I've used Lightroom in the past for altering exposure etc but really dont want to pay for it just to edit a few JWST images.

Yea I've seen some breakdowns from people who post really cool space photos. There's a lot that can go into making the images look amazing.

Maybe there are some nice free (and open source ๐Ÿ‘€) tools people here will suggest for quickly editing images. There is Gimp as the article mentions, but it's not the easiest to quickly filter with
