Zorg at least has some regrets at points in the movie.

Not to mention charisma and sick sense of style.

He also proves that he can get things done himself.

I am disappointed in him.

Elon lacks the style of Zorg, and indeed the Robber Barons of our previous Gilded Age. All of the buildings they make are ugly glass squares. All of their initiatives are self-serving. Carnegie was an asshole, but at least he could commission something beautiful.

It's light. Handle's adjustable for easy carrying, good for righties and lefties. Breaks down into four parts, undetectable by x-ray, ideal for quick, discreet interventions. A word on firepower. Titanium recharger, three thousand round clip with bursts of three to three hundred, and with the Replay button - another Zorg invention - it's even easier.

Ugh this whole movie is so good.
Everything is fantastic from the script to the fx to the costumes to the acting.

Tons of cameos, Gary oldman and Willis at their absolute best and milla jovovich absolutely killing it in her big screen debut.

Even now like 20 years later the CGI doesn't look dated.

I watched it a few months ago. It has some campy moments, but that's part of its charm. How many great movies can say the primary protagonist and antagonist never interact? Not many, I'd wager.

Only bad part is Luc Besson.

Nonsense, Zorg built something that worked.

[–] FARTYSHARTBLAST@sh.itjust.works 28 points 1 year ago

I suppose that's true, Musk hasn't actually built shit.

[–] SoapyYogurt82@lemm.ee 15 points 1 year ago

lol, Zorg would have you killed for this nonsense

[–] Brimos@lemmy.world 8 points 1 year ago (2 children)

I love it. I wonder if we could make this the official image on his wiki page…

[–] BonesOfTheMoon@lemmy.world 3 points 1 year ago

Look at the first 4 letters of wikipedia

[–] tias@discuss.tchncs.de 0 points 1 year ago

Yes, let's consult Wikipedia to see what those 4 letters mean:

A wiki (/ˈwɪki/ i WIK-ee) is an online hypertext publication collaboratively edited and managed by its own audience, using a web browser. A typical wiki contains multiple pages for the subjects or scope of the project, and could be either open to the public or limited to use within an organization for maintaining its internal knowledge base.

[...]

There are hundreds of thousands of wikis in use, both public and private, including wikis functioning as knowledge management resources, note-taking tools, community websites, and intranets. Ward Cunningham, the developer of the first wiki software, WikiWikiWeb, originally described wiki as "the simplest online database that could possibly work".[3] "Wiki" (pronounced [wiki][note 1]) is a Hawaiian word meaning "quick".[4][5][6]
