Uh oh, was the charlatan not on your side all along?
Was he only saying whatever you wanted to hear so he could be in charge and flipped the page the moment you stopped being useful?

For those that have had enough of the Elon Musk worship online.
No flaming, baiting, etc. This community is intended for those opposed to the influx of Elon Musk-related advertising online. Coming here to defend Musk or his companies will not get you banned, but it likely will result in downvotes. Please use the reporting feature if you see a rule violation.
Opinions from all sides of the political spectrum are welcome here. However, we kindly ask that off-topic political discussion be kept to a minimum, so as to focus on the goal of this sub. This community is minimally moderated, so discussion and the power of upvotes/downvotes are allowed, provided lemmy.world rules are not broken.
Post links to instances of obvious Elon Musk fanboy brigading in default subreddits, lemmy/kbin communities/instances, astroturfing from Tesla/SpaceX/etc., or any articles critical of Musk, his ideas, unrealistic promises and timelines, or the working conditions at his companies.
Tesla-specific discussion can be posted here as well as our sister community /c/RealTesla.

Sorry, racists. Daddy Musk needs more factory workers and his breeding fetish isn't cutting it.
Maybe he can make up with the nazis after telling them he wants those workers to work without pay. Locked in a camp. Just like daddy's mines.
People must have shit for brains. He did just that when he overextended himself and had to borrow money to buy twitter. Pretty much fired all the other programmers and basically held visa workers hostage because they literally couldn't quit or they'd be deported
Big business was always going to be at odds with a literal interpretation of Trump's immigration policy.
Yeah we love reading this but in the end it's just someone barely meeting the definition of journalist pulling some rando comments from Twitter because it suits the narrative that helps them get clicks. What is the news here, really?
The news is that Musk tweeted on Christmas day 2024 that Trump's anti immigration campaign was a lie. Co-President Musk wants to increase immigration for his companies instead of paying for American workers.
Its not about America or American workers. Trump doesnt want to have to employ people he needs in countries where he doesnt have his fingers on the scales.
