A "Showerthought" is a simple term used to describe the thoughts that pop into your head while you're doing everyday things like taking a shower, driving, or just daydreaming. A showerthought should offer a unique perspective on an ordinary part of life.

And emergency sirens of any kind. The number of times a track has had me looking for flashing lights while I'm driving is too goddamn high.

Sirens and phone alarm clocks as well. The latter gives me PTSD when it’s a weekend and I hear it.

Or video games using noises that sound exactly like the fire alarm in my building.

There's a 1s clip from a song that sounds exactly like my mother telling my name, with the exact acoustic quality of it being beyond headphones, coming from upstairs.

As a kid when I was in that basement, it was a mystery. As soon as I moved out, I figured it out.

The music in the show Slow Horses sounds like my fridge door is open. Drove us crazy!

"You've blocked me on Facebook, and now you're going to die"

Classic example from the dubstep era.

Every song should start with the classic Tmobile ringtone!
