I'm looking at getting started in cybersecurity. I'm hoping to pass the CompTIA Security+ this month. Are there any projects that I could work on to improve my résumé?

Set up a home lab with a couple Linux/Windows hosts that report back to a logging platform or SIEM.

Set up a honey pot somewhere and analyse the files in a malware sandbox.

Compete in some CTFs or forensics competitions.

I like TryHackMe as a training tool.

Welcome! I dont know you background, but I would suggest get into selfhosting. There are several projects related to cybersecurity, fun and useful. Ex: MISP, Pihole, The Hive.
