A lot of hand pain with that tiny device.

Eh, it depends. Some people swear the 3ds is uncomfortable as hell but I've never felt it.
Maybe I just have small hands....
Not game related, but how do you get your legs completely on one side of the steering column like that?
Lmao. Some cars have more than your civic
Depends. Is it the version with voice acting (it looks like it; says complete)? Because you'll be in for some cute cutscenes and awesome songs.
I actually only ever played Lunar because I saw it for sale at Walmart in a huge boxed set for like $100, in the pS3 era. I was curious enough as to why they would still have a PS1 game for that much that I had to buy it.
A crash if you play that while driving
It's fine, it's an automatic.
I think all Civic Si models are manual. Uh oh
That's my understanding. Op's playin with fire 😬
I loved Lunar. I wound up playing the second one first. Then went back to play the first.
God, I miss my collection of pirated Japanese Dreamcast fighting games...
I did actually buy 3rd strike, though!
The majority of the ones in the spindle are actual discs I collected with out cases. I need to properly store them at some point.
A ticket, if caught while driving
What a gem, my friend and I played through the first 2 lunar games in university.
I also discovered wild Arms which was pretty good and doesn't get much attention compared to jrpgs like FF and Suikoden.
Friends don’t let friends Lunar and drive.
I bought this game solely based on the full page ad in Playstation magazine. I put my hard earned cash down on a pre-order of the complete edition at "Software, Etc." at the shopping mall, sight unseen, with FF7 my only frame of reference on JRPGs. Definitely my favorite JRPG from my childhood.
My only regret is selling it, along with a Ghaleon puppet, on eBay a few years back.
Software, Etc
Holy shit, core memory unlocked. I completely forgot that the Gamestop at our local mall was previously "Software, Etc."
Goddamn.
I regret selling all of my PS1 and PS2 games. Back when the other (standalone) Gamestop in my town growing up was still a "Funco Land," I found used copies of Tactics Ogre, and Ogre Battle (I think it was a two-disc Special Edition or something?) on PS1 for very cheap, and then sold them on eBay for like $150. I remember thinking I was so clever... Now I wish I had just kept them.
An absolute delight. That’s the very game that got me into RPGs. Until I copped Harmony on PSP my brain focused on nothing but Halo and COD.
One of the better JRPGs ever done.
Follow up Lunar 1+2 with Suikoden 1+2, then Golden Sun 1+2.
(Optional) Phantasy Star 1-4.
After that, you really don't need to play any other JRPG.
Chrono Trigger?
And Earthbound.
And mother 3. Dear God, mother 3.
As usual, Star Ocean: Second Story gets overlooked (they did do a great job with the remake though).
You're also leaving out the entire SMT/Persona series, but I guess it's not everyone's cup of tea.
Persona is a sore subject for me because they ruined the original North American localization.
"So when you finish a random encounter, you can gain experience, or harvest souls!"
"Polling says Americans don't like random encounters."
"Oh, that's easy to fix, reduce random encounters 50%"
Which made it so you either couldn't get enough experience or harvest enough souls. :(
They also removed the Snow Queen quest for some reason:
Excuse ME?
Username checks out
But really, how could you forget Lufia 1&2?
Breath of Fire 3 is also an excellent, timeless JRPG
Lunar is up there with FF 4 and 6 and Chrono. Likely best 4 retro rpgs that exist.
Completely unrelated but I love the Civic Si, what gen is that one?
I’m playing a 90’s fantasy anime and it’s wholesome as shit
Yep, it'll meet those expectations (and probably not exceed them).
As for being wholesome, well...there is a small part of the game that's on the pervy side.
Name a JRPG that DOESN'T have a horny side.
I don't remember Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor Overclocked being horny, but it's been a while
I haven't played through that one, but if the demon "Mara" is in it, then you bet your ass it's horny lol.
Giant pulsing/dripping cock on wheels.
Well, plus all the other lady demons basically being naked. I believe most SMT games have succubi of sorts, and horniness is like their one known trait.
Like what Lunar does? It's pretty rare outside of the ecchi/outright eroge subgenres.
I can't answer your question, but I have the RG35XX H arriving in a week, and you may have just inspired the first game to play when I get it. 😊
I actually owned Lunar 1 and 2 back in the day but never got around to playing them.
I sometimes still hum the opening theme to Silver Star Story from my time playing the OG on PSX when it released. The game is just wonderful, hopeful, and fun. Enjoy!
OG?
I lost my Miyoo Mini in Greece and want to buy another.
It's noticeably better than the 35XXsp I got to replace it.
How so? Most of what I've read has drawn the opposite conclusion🤷♂️
The buttons on the Miyoo are much better. There are videos on disassembling the SP and putting tape over the buttons to try and fix them.
GarlicOS is much better on the Miyoo compared to SP stock or Muos. It's a super quick save/power off/boot/restore so when you hit power you are back in your game but because it's a real power off instead of sleep, you always have power. (Which is why I stopped using my Restroid.)
The SP can do save/restore but it's slower. The power button is particularly weird. You press power, wait two seconds, light comes on, then it boots.
The only thing the SP has going for it is the form factor.
GarlicOS? Do you mean OnionOS?
Yeah I get them mixed up.
I think OnionOS is for the Miyoo Mini, and GarlicOS is for Anbernic devices.
Onion os is a treasure. The devs are awesome.
