The International Criminal Court (ICC) on Thursday issued arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former defence minister Yoav Gallant, six months after a request by Prosecutor Karim Khan.

The Hague-based court also issued a warrant for Mohammed Diab Ibrahim al-Masri, the Hamas military chief better known as Mohammed Deif.

The chamber said the arrest warrants are classified as "secret" but that it has decided to release them because "conduct similar to that addressed in the warrant of arrest appears to be ongoing," referring to the ongoing Israeli onslaught on Gaza and the continued detention of Israeli captives by Hamas.

All 124 member states of the Rome Statute are now under an obligation to arrest the wanted individuals and hand them over to the court in the Hague. A trial cannot commence in absentia, as stipulated in Article 63 of the statute.

Now they gotta do Biden and the rest of US officials who've been facilitating the genocide.

According to Article 1 of the Genocide Convention, the Contracting Parties, including the United States and Israel, must prevent and punish acts of genocide. Under Article III, those punishable acts include “Complicity in genocide,” such as by knowingly providing the deadly weapons used to carry it out. In 2007, the International Court of Justice (ICJ), in a case involving Bosnia and Serbia, established that the obligation to refrain from providing weapons or other assistance begins the moment a state becomes aware of the existence of a serious risk that genocide may be committed.

Bush 1 administration, Clinton, Bush 2, Obama. It would be around 500-1000 people but of course the entire US Military would fight against it and end the world if it came to it. If a sympathetic US President decided to assist though, a new golden age would dawn.

It gives mostly politicians a far easier option to speak out against Israel. Simply by mentioning Israel is legally ran by war criminals they can easier enact laws to divest and demonize Israel. The public will not be as susceptible to the excuse of antisemitism when there is a legally binding ICC arrest warrant for these people.

We now also have a legal confirmation that Israel is in fact committing war crimes (such surprise)
