A bit weird choice given the subject matter of the race, you'd think?
It was hilarious! The whole race was done with this kind of mood of everyone having silly fun together to raise money for a mental health charity. Catch any of the vods of the event and you'll see thw good vibes.
I mean, maybe? Is anything there in particularly poor taste or is it just like “MacLaren got Minecraft TNTd” and “George Russel looks like Woody from Toy Story”?
Could just be good natured fun but I can’t see them all so can’t be sure it’s all in good taste.
They had the Lando think different meme, max in mc armor saying my pickaxe is fucked, the max/ice age Sid meme and some more. Don't think any of them were in bad taste, only one ive seen people complain about was the Lando one (probably due to championship rivalry)
So it's just lighthearted fun?
My train of thought was more in general: the message of the livery seems to be "laugh about memes someone made about you"... which is not what you should tell people with mental health issues. It gives me a "just smile more" vibe.
