Beyond inflation woes, we can thank the CHIPS act and similar for this. Biden basically waved a wad of money to European tech companies to de-localize and even staples with decades of history like CDPR took it, laid off a shit ton of people in Poland, and opened a studio with subsidized employment in the US.
