Vi fik fat i en læge, og jeg fik en sprøjte med et eller andet, som jeg vist ikke skulle vide, hvad var.

We got a doctor and I was given an injection of something I apparently wasn't supposed to know what it was.

In norwegian "å brekke seg" describes what you do before you almost/are about to vomit. Is that what it means in Danish, too?

Almost, except it means the actual act of vomiting.
