This dude is such a treasure.

Agreed. Ive followed him off and on since the beginning. Love Clint ❤️

I watched his video doing a walkthrough of the damage yesterday. It's really sad. Not just his collection of all this stuff that he is so passionate about, but his whole house. So much damage caused by nature. I hope he's able to get things back to semi-normal soon.

I have no clue how he's this quickly been able to have such a positive attitude and sense of humor about it. I'd be despondent in his shoes.

I suppose I shouldn't be too surprised; Clint always brings such enthusiasm and positivity to his videos. He's a go-to when I'm sick. He's like chicken noodle soup in video form.

Probably being wealthy helps

Can we talk about how he is directing people to not donate to him, but instead donate to help others in his area. Absolute Chad.

Poor Clint... That must have been heartbreaking to see.

That fucking Lamborghini laptop really hurts goddamnit.

[–] HipsterTenZero@dormi.zone 7 points 3 weeks ago

Oh, that's heartbreaking.

That hurts in the same way as the time I saw someone on reddit say that an early 3d printer fire burnt their house down... and their cat.

[–] BrundleFly2077@sh.itjust.works 4 points 3 weeks ago

WTF. That took a turn. Poor moggy. I wonder now what he was printing.

my wife won’t live in a house with any trees within striking distance. i can see why

[–] mtchristo@lemm.ee 0 points 3 weeks ago (1 children)

Your problem are not falling trees, but flimsy houses! A concrete or steel structure would have cut that tree in half. The roof tile would have been damaged but that's cheaper to fix.

[–] jdeath@lemm.ee 1 points 3 weeks ago

can't say i would argue! but when all the houses are that way, i can't really buy a concrete/steel construction house in any normal price range
