Brutal book review.

“Revenge of the Tipping Point,” is a genre bender: self-help without the practical advice, storytelling without the literariness, nonfiction without the vital truths, entertainment without the pleasure, a thriller without actual revelation and a business book without the actionable insights.

He's OK for getting a taster of ideas, but he pretty regularly takes his presentation way beyond what the evidence actually supports. He's a decent storyteller, telling stories about science, but without the scientist in him to actually base his narrative on what the actual evidence says. Or, barring that, the rigor to at least give a clear indication of what's evidence based and what's speculation.
