I got my driving license yesterday (at almost 40 yo). My dog is fine, she has conjunctivitis, has a treatment and is right as rain again. I drove to work for the first time today, shortening my commute time from close to 1 hour to 15 minutes. I’m happy.

Congratulations, I missed your message yesterday!
Thank you very much :)!
I'm also on the same road. I'm older than you even, but I got so sick of public transport... I can't take it anymore. Delays, people being loud, people smelling, all that wasted time traveling, etc etc.
I need a car. I hope in 2 months. :)
Oh I understand 100% ! Hanging a car is so life changing for me, living in the countryside it’s so much more simple now. When I lived in the city, it made no sense, now than everything is 45 minutes in bus away, with buses every hours when I’m lucky… I’ll be thinking about you, good luck !!! 🤞
Thank you, I'm really excited about it. I know it will improve my life so much :)
I enjoy driving too so I will probably just go for random drives a lot once i get a license. :)
Hahaha to be honest I’m looking for excuses to drive now… I wish you all the best, fingers crossed it’s happening to you too soon !!! Keep us updated :)
Fine, but feeling anxious about my 12 hour flight next week. I don't even want to go but I can't get out of it.
I'll always remember watching "The Last Samurai" thrice on the same flight just to kill time...
Although the best is handheld video games. A week gives you enough time to buy a cheap retro-gaming thing that'll make the 12 hours disappear!
Fortunately I've got a Kobo (e-reader). Plan on spending the whole time reading manga lol. Still, 12 hours is a long time.
The sun is up, the pool is open, and I only have everything I've delayed and procrastinated to do!
My day's going well. Sat for my first online live lecture, which went well without a glitch.
Cheeky work-cry. It's going great.
Recovering from some minor GI surgery. Doing great otherwise!
