Quite honestly, yes he did. As a young teenager, I started climbing because of Spider-Man. And climbing became my meditation and therapy for a while. I had lots of fun climbing, and I miss it dearly.

Whats preventing you from going to a climbing gym? (Except for maybe money, health, time or existence of nearby gym)

At some point I decided to quit climbing. I realized I had too many thing I wanted to do and become good at, and not enough time to dedicate to them all. And climbing had become this thing where every time I stopped for a while, it kept getting harder to get back to the same level I was before stopping. So I stopped completely.

I see, i can imagine it might go like that for me eventually. For me so far the social aspect of it just kept me going when i wasnt motivated. I hope you found other things that you enjoy. :)

I feel like more than a lot of other super heroes Peter Parker is just a regular person that happens to have super powers. Now he is a genius, but that hasn’t really made his life better or significantly more successful and I like that aspect of unfortunate realism. On top of trying to hold it all together between education, work, taking care of his loved ones, and superheroism, is still tries to force in time to work at his Aunt’s soup kitchen from time to time. And the level of empathy he has for others including some of his worst villains actually did inspire me. It sounds cheesy but all of that is why he’s one of my favorite characters ever. And while I never expected to like a “new” spider-man, Miles Morales embodies all of those traits while still having his own personality, and seeing Peter nurture that has been a really lovely story across movies, comics, and games

For me it was SpongeBob. I would have the blood of thousands on my hands right now except I liked SpongeBob and he's nice so that meant I had to be nice.

It was Goku for me.

Though, as I get older, I can't help but think about how Goku enabled space-Nazi's (Frieza), time-Nazi's (Cell), and Kim Jong Un (Buu).
