A place to talk about and post pictures of cats
Humans can be real shits. Still better than finding a starving cat; at least they fed him. Still.
We can put people on lists to restrict their ownership of guns, or driving cars. And yet, there's no way to restrict people from owning pets, or having children. And folks get right uppity if you even suggest the latter, Left or Right.
This kitty was a stray of some kind. He made residence in the basement of a hospital and the staff gave him scraps. Now, I have no idea if they saw how big this cat was getting, but since they did it randomly, they probably didn't have a schedule and he just ate whenever someone came down. I sure he'll do well in his new environment.
But there absolutely should be restrictions on who can own a pet. 👀

Gotta make replacement laborers. If you put restrictions on that whose children will work in the meat packing plants?
