Looks fun to play! Also, great artwork.

@flango @mac thank you so much. It really means a lot to hear that 😊

Those animations and movement look satisfying, keep up the good stuff!

@voklen @mac thank you, I really appreciate that! I wanted it to be fun and satisfying to simply move around as the character, that's always a big focus in the platformers I love. So I spent a good amount of time just focused on the player's movement and animation feel ☺️

I extended the player script that comes from @kenney 's 3D platformer starter kit. Highly recommend it as a template to build off of : https://github.com/KenneyNL/Starter-Kit-3D-Platformer

I usually just ask users on mastodon in dms whether theyre fine with me posting it here and then make a completely new post if they say yes. For the actual video I download it from mastodon then usually shrink it to around half width and height and optimize it a bit so its within the lemmy file size limit

For actual crossposts from mastodon only the original author can do that and by tagging the lemmy community

Ah that makes sense, thank you! I’d crossposted my own content from mastodon so I wasn’t sure how to do it for others
