Okay so I'm going to try and learn Chinese. My friend has offered to teach me, so that'll I guess be the foundation of my learning, but I'd also like to have some outside supplemental resources to look at. C/sino has a link that leads nowhere.

I'm a complete beginner btw, I know nothing. So I need complete beginner resources. Thanks in advance.
