I was recently in a cafe where you had to pay in order to use the internet. I kept trying popular passwords and got in for free... The password was admin.

A screenshot of a Mastodon post? This place really is just like Reddit
Just like the good old times
Crosspostion from Mastodon to lemmy would be cool
Every password should have more than 8 letters to be effective. Beef stew is not stroganoff.
admin123 it is then
adminadmin gang
administrator gang
I'm glad password is 8 letters.
Beef stew is not stroganoff would make a great password. Its long, has spaces and is easy to remember.
I think this is a deterrent for skaters and people jumping down the stairs. Like fixtures on the edges of park benches
You can see they just photoshopped out the railing on the side. Not even properly lol.
This is to stop stair thieves.
You'll never catch me, copper! runs off with several flights of stairs
"admin" encryted change to
U2FsdGVkX1+9801xIiwBEo+mwvPNjc6wcGUlvLI9Gow=
Which is a really nice password
Doesn't matter if someone just tries admin:admin.
Encryption only matters if you're trying to get a password list. But admin:admin is the first try everyone uses when attempting to get into a system they're not supposed to get into.
Maybe it's just to keep the obese out?
As a member of the undertall society I find this offensive.
Well done.
He could install a firewall anytime
I thought you would only see shitty screenshots like this on Snapchat or so
If you use hunter2 as a password, everyone will think you're joking.
I was about to joke that it's just to prevent people in wheelchairs. I need to get more sleep.
Is @dgar some sort of Fedi celebrity or something?
