The game sells your info apparently... points 4.3 and 15.4 of the privacy policy (age, gender, location, etc to advertisers).

I did not look this up myself, it's just one of the many reviews talking about this that provides this information. Credit to steam user Ilovemyhouse.

Absolutely grabbed it.

I figure they're trying to boost player numbers before the summer sale (later this week).

Game had a very rough launch, and there's some questionable decisions the development team ran with (always online), but hopefully it'll get an offline mode in the future.

Offline mode should be released 9th of July, if I remember the post on steam correctly.
