Capcom has announced the Marvel vs. Capcom Fighting Collection: Arcade Classics, a compilation of seven iconic fighting games that will release on PlayStation 4, Switch, and PC in 2024. The collection includes:

  • X-Men: Children of the Atom
  • Marvel Super Heroes
  • Marvel vs. Capcom: Clash of Super Heroes
  • Marvel vs. Capcom 2: New Age of Heroes
  • Marvel Super Heroes vs. Street Fighter
  • X-Men vs. Street Fighter
  • The Punisher

Would you prefer playing classic fighting games on their original systems or enjoy them with modern enhancements on newer consoles?

This is a day one purchase for me, if they somehow don't encumber it with DRM bullshit..

"The Punisher" arcade game is a criminally under-discovered gem. And Children of the Atom doesn't get re-released often enough for how stupidly fun it is.

The Punisher arcade game is still an excellent game. I will grab this for this.

I have a few of the other Capcom releases like this and they have been pretty solid. My main complaint is the weirdly confusing menus that seem like they were designed to make you get lost or something.

I love Marvel Vs. Capcom and I didn't really play the second one much. This is a day one purchase for me on the Switch!
