For me it was rescuing a little bee buddy from a spider. It buzzed like crazy on my palm, getting rid of the web and finally flying away.

Spider has been eating well on that net. The bee buddies are my guests though, so spider friend doesn't get to snack on them.

A long weekend for me: I'm taking the day off to get a couple of DIY jobs completed. One is to put a shelf up that we had up in our previous house. With no planning at all, it happened to be exactly the right length for the wall. This made me smile.

Great feeling if something just fits and wasn't even planned. Good stuff!

A couple of birds moved in above one of the pillars of my porch and made a nest, and watching them has been amazing.

I saw a feather hang perfectly still in the sky for just a short second

That's cool! I once saw one fall straight down while being upright/vertical, rotating around its own shaft. Feathers are weird, huh?

Going rollerskating with my dog. We recently discovered this is a great bonding exercise - he loves to run, and now I can keep up with him! We also need to read each other quite well - I must realize when he wants to stop and go sniffing, and he needs to make sure he follows where I am going. And it is on both of us to make sure we keep the right pace, it is awesome!
