Starting yesterday, when I click a link to view the image or comments, the link doesn't appear "read" when I go back to the feed.

I know Sync hasn't updated, but yesterday I updated Chrome and rebooted my phone, in case that's relevant.

I keep clicking the same posts over and over and can't use Hide Read option to only see new stuff.

I wonder if this is related to the latest Lemmy update?

I can confirm this is related to the 0.19.4 update. The bug goes away if I downgrade my instance.

That said, it was extra bad with the beta because I think they never got marked read but now that the final release is cut and I've upgraded, they're being marked read on refresh.

I think. It's possible I just missed that it was working on refresh on beta6 too.

This is happening to me, too. I have "Mark as Read on Scroll" turned on, but posts are not marked as Read with scrolling or clicking.

I just noticed this bug!

Marked as read on scroll is busted!

I'm gonna check with other apps for the time being, but I suspect this is a Lemmy bug.

EDIT: I experience the same bug with Summit, although Voyager, Thunder, Boost and Jerboa seem to be fine.

Same for me, I guess it is related to a lemmy update, since it started after my home instance got updated to 0.19.4

Weird... Nothing has changed for me.

I don't use chrome though.
