I had the season written off for Red Bull before it even began, and we've now seen 4 different race winners in 8 races. Hopefully the competitiveness continues.
Happy to see Gasly and Albon finally score points.

On the bright side, if you fell asleep after lap 1, you didn't miss a single thing
What about that slow paced pass Sargent got over Zhoβ½
I did exactly this. I happened to wake up right before the start, turned it on, watched the crash, and by the time the race restarted I had fallen asleep and I never bothered watching the rest.
Way to go Charles!!!! Very happy for him to have finally won his home race. With the 1st and 3rd today Ferrari is nipping at RB's heels. Will be a very interesting race in Canada in a few weeks.
Very happy for Charles!
But something needs to happen to this race. As it is now it is a Saturday race with qualifying, the race on Sunday is negligible, boring even.
They should add a rule that a red flag doesnβt count as a tire change for the purposes of fulfilling the βyou must change tires at least once during a raceβ rule
Rather the rule should allow tyres to be changed to the same compound only in case of a red flag. That way they are still allowed to change tyres freely but then they have still make a stop to run a different compound if they haven't done that before.
That was dull...
Outside of K-Mag and Ocon accidents. It was your basic Monaco GP.
Williams got points!
So is this the first time in the ground effect era that we have had multiple cars who have finished the race be 2 laps downΒΏ? For the life of me I can't remember another instance of this happening.
Congratulations Charles!
Those watching the race through tiktok clips with generic dubstep are going to be disappointed.
I fell asleep between lap 26 and 45 beside maybe one or two back markers nothing had changed.
The weather gods were also sleeping sadly because rain could have spiced things up a little.
I feel like this thread has some nice "Silicon Valley" Rigby quality to it:

Monaco is fucking boring, Ligby.
Quali is a joke on this track, and it's going to be worse with more teams coming in the future. The race has been pointless for decades. No attempt at format change is going to improve the Monaco race, so it should really just be cancelled and officially turned into a media and fans weekend instead.
When the most exciting thing to happen all day is whether or not Carlos would be allowed back in, that's a pathetic result for the event.
