Personally I think Aston Martin got hit with a technical directive and that is why their pace imploded.
Stroll failed to profit when the car was still good though.
Wonder if all the stories about Stroll's junior career and F3 championship win will ever hit the mainstream F1 media. I'm talking about contractual number two drivers in Stroll's F3 team, using F1 engineers to develop parts and set up his F3 car, even leading to a disqualification at one event.
